Fun news

Once again I have waited to write for quite some time. But I have had so much fun and done so many things that I’ve always been busy. Soon enough I will have a sum-up of the summer, which has been the best one in a long time, maybe ever.

Till then, here is a funny story, which I just love.

In Spain a woman visited a art museum. A painting of Jesus looked old and needed a restoration, she thought, and this is what she did.

So much fun. And this has spun a wave of other internet jokes in the same spirit.

Soon enough I will write a better post. See ya!

Great week

Last week I had five days off, and I used that to the fullest.

I went to Öland for two days. Probably the last time this summer, but you’l never know. I swam and tanned and had a good time.

You can have a pretty good time here

Thursday night I spent in Halmstad, and I drove gokart. Had never done that before but it was so much fun. Unfortunately I got a spin at one of the final laps, so I ended up last. But I absolutely got an urge to do this soon again.

The rest of the week was spent in Gothenburg. We went up early Friday morning to see an early show of The Dark Knight Rises, the latest Batman movie, and the last (?) in Christopher Nolan’s film series. Really, really good. I was a little skeptic early on, but then it all went crazy and I was so sold.

After that it was time for a consert, but just not anyone, but Bruce Springsteen! He was at Ullevi stadium and me and Daniel had got tickets already in the winter. It was a lit of standing up and waiting to get decent spots. And we got pretty good spots, and then waited almost four hours of pure magic. It was so amazing. My first arena consert, but definitely not the last one.

The Boss

The weekend me and the Halmstad gang had planned to have a double day at the theme park Liseberg. But it rained so much that we couldn’t be outdoors. A shopping mall in central Gothenburg had to be evacuated because it was flooded, and all public transportation was cancelled for an hour. So we decided to stay indoors. We went to Universeum, a mixture between a zoo, museum and experiment center. We watched funny animals. The evening we ate at a Turkish restaurant, which had really nice food.

We found Nemo

Carro found a monkey

And I found this funny fella. A sawfish, seen from underneath.

But the Sunday we got to spend at Liseberg. We were there from the time they opened till they closed, and we got to go on all the rides we wanted. It was so much fun.  We also played some wheels, and I got two stuffed animals, plus another one in a machine.

A wonderful weekend, simply put =)
